Provide subject matter expertise on bridge rehabilitation and bridge load rating projects as well as bridge design projects in construction phase to project engineers. Direct complex bridge analysis for proposed bridge repairs during construction phase services utilizing Midas Civil software and related software, including STAAD, for carrying out 2D and 3D finite element analyses. Serve as trusted advisor and direct point of contact to existing and prospective clients, including preparing and submitting proposals. Mentor junior engineering staff to grow the firm’s technical skillset. Present at professional conferences as subject matter expert as representative of the firm. Master’s Degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field required.

Minimum of 2 years prior experience required in Design Engineer role(s), which role(s) must include a) applying structural codes and specifications, including MassDOT Bridge Manual, AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specifications, and Standard Specification for Highway Bridges and b) using STAAD Software in connection with analysis and design of bridges. Massachusetts Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
