Inspector

We have a career opportunity for an entry level Inspector who will work with a broad range of projects. This role requires the desire to learn and ask questions as we work together to build Colorado’s infrastructure.  You will gain experience of the variety of trades, crafts and equipment to complete the job, along with the ability to identify potential problems early. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that drive the growth of the construction group.

Location

This role will be based out of our Denver, CO office with project potential near Denver and Fort Collins.

The Impact You Will Have
  • Field observation and documentation of construction activities as directed by the Construction Project Manager in accordance with the contract requirements and documentation of same per applicable standards.
  • Inform Construction Project Manager on progress of work and pertinent issues by compiling written, oral and/or a diagram presentation.
  • Track progress, document activities accurately and efficiently, keep contract conflict from escalating into a problem.
  • Obtain industry certifications and training.
  • Comply with all applicable safety and environmental requirements.
  • Perform measurements and calculations to determine quantities of installed work items.
  • Interpret plans and reports to verify field layout and compliance.
  • Effectively interact with contractors and their representatives while representing the contract owner.
  • Any other duties assigned by the Construction Project Manager.
What We Are Looking For
  • Base knowledge or desire to learn applicable construction standards, regulations, and contract requirements necessary for completion of assigned tasks.
  • Base knowledge or desire to learn construction instruments/tools, scheduling and measurement.
  • Base knowledge or desire to learn appropriate software, and of appliable codes and standards.
  • Goal-oriented and effective communication skills.
  • Comply with all project and company safety guidelines.
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license held for a minimum of one year and a safe motor vehicle record meeting company standards.
  • Collaborative approach that can mentor less experienced staff and builds relationships with the larger team, Clients, other Consultants, and the Contractor.

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act. The final agreed-upon compensation is based on numerous factors, including but not limited to individual education, qualifications, prior work experience, and geographic location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary, overtime, and bonuses.

Colorado Pay Range

$104,000$130,000 USD
